This policy covers the TableGrab browser extension, this website and TableGrab Pro purchases. TableGrab is operated by Colin Bishop, a sole trader trading as “TableGrab”, who is the controller of the limited personal information described here. Address: Brisbane QLD, Australia. Privacy contact: pagepingapp@gmail.com.
TableGrab has no account system, no analytics and no advertising. It does not collect, sell or share your browsing history, page contents or personal information. When you click the TableGrab icon or its right-click menu on a tab, it reads that page's tables inside your browser so it can list, preview and convert them. The table is placed on your clipboard or saved as a file on your computer, as you choose. Page content is never sent to us or anyone else, and TableGrab doesn't run on pages you haven't clicked it on.
activeTab, scripting: to read the tables on the tab you're looking at, only after you click TableGrab. There is no permission to read other sites.contextMenus: the right-click “TableGrab → copy a table” menu.clipboardWrite, offscreen: to put the table you chose on your clipboard (the offscreen page is used when the copy starts from the right-click menu).storage: to remember your settings and Pro license key.Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle collects your name, email, billing country/postcode and payment details to process the order, calculate tax and prevent fraud, under Paddle's privacy policy. We never see your card details. Paddle shares with us the order details we need to fulfil and support your purchase (such as your email address, country and transaction ID).
To issue your license key, our licensing service (hosted on Cloudflare at api.pagepingapp.com, shared with our PagePing extension) receives your Paddle transaction ID, confirms the payment with Paddle and returns a key. It stores no personal information; it keeps only the transaction IDs of refunded or charged-back orders, so those keys stop working. When you activate a key, and about once a week afterwards, the extension sends the license key (which contains your transaction ID) to this service for verification, to check it hasn't been refunded. That is the only data the extension ever sends.
Only our service providers: Paddle.com, our payment reseller and Merchant of Record; our website and licensing hosts (which process standard technical request data such as IP address in their logs); our email provider if you write to us; professional advisers; and authorities where the law requires. We don't sell personal information or use it for advertising.
This website uses no analytics or advertising cookies. The checkout page loads Paddle's checkout script, which may set cookies needed for payment and fraud prevention.
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally 5 years in Australia), then deleted. Support emails are kept for up to 2 years. Settings in the extension stay on your device until you uninstall it.
You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy, by emailing pagepingapp@gmail.com; we'll reply within 30 days. If you're unhappy with our response you can complain to your local privacy regulator (in Australia, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, oaic.gov.au; in the EU/UK, your data protection authority).
Our providers may process data outside your country (for example in the United States, the UK or the EU), under their own safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We use reputable providers, HTTPS everywhere, and keep the information we hold to the minimum.
TableGrab's use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, note it in the extension's settings page.
